Clean comms.
Verified intel.
Controlled access.

RED is Alpha Security Forum’s vetted coordination layer for trusted role-players. It exists to help security companies, SAPS, TMPD, CPF leadership, and aligned operators share relevant information quickly, calmly, and in a structured way.

This is not a public discussion group, not a marketing space, and not a recruitment platform. RED is for operational relevance, disciplined communication, and trusted coordination under pressure.

Important: members of RED are expected to read the group description regularly. Rules are kept there and may be updated from time to time. By joining and remaining in the group, members are regarded as having accepted and agreed to those rules.
  • RED is for operational coordination and verified intelligence only.
  • Access is controlled and may be removed at any time if trust is broken.
  • Fearless sits above RED and requires further training, readiness, and proven discipline.
RED operational coordination
RED is where trusted role-players align, keep comms tight, and reduce chaos during active situations.

Start here

RED is best understood as a controlled coordination channel, not just another WhatsApp group.

How RED works

RED is built to keep important information moving between trusted people without the noise, emotion, confusion, or leakage that usually damages coordination.

Purpose

Operational coordination

RED helps align role-players during incidents or developing situations so that people work from the same picture and escalation stays controlled.

  • Situational awareness
  • Clean escalation
  • Improved coordination

Verified information

RED is for details that matter and can be used: locations, descriptions, direction of travel, plates, camera confirmations, case references, and relevant operational updates.

  • No rumours
  • No panic posts
  • No “I heard” noise
Conduct

Discipline matters

Communication in RED must stay short, factual, and relevant. The group only works when members respect the structure and do not turn it into a social feed.

  • Stay relevant
  • Stay calm
  • Follow direction
Not for: self-promotion, advertising, marketing, CVs, job-seeking, gossip, screenshots, or using shared information for personal gain.

Rules, conduct & group description

RED is a trust-based structure. Rules are kept in the group description and may be updated there from time to time. Everyone in the group is expected to stay familiar with them.

Core expectations

  • No screenshots and no redistribution outside authorised channels.
  • No leaks of information, identities, or media.
  • No self-promotion or service marketing.
  • Verified info only.
  • Lawful conduct at all times.

How acceptance works

  • Rules are maintained in the group description.
  • Members are expected to read the description regularly.
  • Updates to rules may be made there without separate formal notice.
  • By joining and remaining on the group, a member is regarded as accepting those rules.
  • Breach may result in immediate removal.
Plain-language version: if you are on RED, you are expected to know the current rules, follow them, and respect the fact that this group exists for disciplined coordination, not noise.

Request access to RED

This is a controlled access request for vetted role-players. Submission does not guarantee entry. It creates a record of interest and acknowledgement, and a coordinator may contact you privately if needed.

Before you submit

  • RED is for operational coordination, not recruitment.
  • RED usually follows community / CPF involvement and trusted reference.
  • Fearless sits above RED and is not automatically linked to RED access.
  • You are expected to read and accept the RED rules before requesting access.
Required step: open the rules acknowledgement below, read it, accept it, and then submit your request.

Status: Rules not yet accepted.

Radio access
What happens next:
  • Your request is recorded for review and verification.
  • A coordinator may contact you privately.
  • Access, if granted, remains conditional and trust-based.
  • Access may be removed if rules, discipline, or trust are broken.

Submission does not guarantee admission to RED and does not create any form of authority, appointment, or entitlement.

Radio access request

Radio access may be useful for certain RED members depending on role, activity, and operational need. If you already have a Halo radio, you can request coordination access here. If not, a radio allocation may require a R300/month contribution.

Radio access is not automatic and remains subject to approval, suitability, and communications discipline.
