The Alpha Security Forum has been actively involved in various projects to enhance community safety. From successful operations to ongoing missions, we continually strive to make a positive impact. This page provides an overview of our past successes, current projects, and future initiatives.

Successful Projects

Moreleta Spruit

Description: With the Ridgefield Security Estate, and Lynn-De-Grace we have closed off vulnerabilities, organised farmers to assist the City of Tswhane in cutting the overgrowth.

Achievements: Less vagrants are now entering, and we have somewhat control over the area from Lynnwood Bridge, up until the N4.

Cost: R25,000.00

Current Projects

Total Park

Status: 70%

Description: We need funding to repair the fence on the N4 side and install two cameras to monitor the park.

Achievements: Vagrants removed, and park cleaned up, fence on Rubida repaired and locked.

Amount Required: R30,000.00

Moreleta Spruit 2.0

Status: 5%

Description: We want to install thermal cameras at vital places to assist us in monitoring the spruit.

Achievements: Created a safer area during the day, we just need to focus on the night time now.

Amount Required: R130,000.00

ANPR Cameras

Status: 25%

Description: To install 19 cameras that span the borders of the area, that can alert of suspcious vehicles entering the area.

Achievements: To try our best working with Security and SAPS to combat crime before it happens.

Amount Required: R236,400.00

Rhenosterkop

Status: 10%

Description: Installation of four solar powered cameras, to monitor any movement.

Achievements: Vagrants removed.

Amount Required: R40,000.00

Trailcams & Night Vision

Status: 5%

Description: Procurement of four or more trailcams, and another 2 night vision optics devices.

Achievements: Trailcams assist us to monitor vacant houses/lots as well as interim weakpoint surveilance.

Amount Required: R60,000.00

Future Projects

Node Capture Vehicle

Description: Working with SAPS, a vehicle to be used by all Security Companies, to keep them on the road, while awaitng SAPS.

Estimated Cost: R80,000.00 Monthly

Oulandsloop Cameras

Description: Have dedicated community cameras covering the entirety of the area, monitored by all Security Company Control Rooms.

Estimated Cost: R120,000.00

Dedicated UHF Radios

Description: UHF Repeater with backup power, each community area to have their own channel, and one emergency channel, all linked across the greater PTA East.

Estimated Cost: R140,000.00

Thermal Drone

Description: A community owned drone to assist in overwatch in response and operations, flown by trained pilot.

Estimated Cost: R220,000.00

Alpha Community Upliftment Precinct

Description: We will be working with the City Of Tshwane to transform our entire area for the better.

Estimated Cost: R50.00 Monthly Contribution
